Terms of Use
Plain language, not legalese. This describes what Stockinder is, what it isn't, and what you're agreeing to by using it. See the separate Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
What Stockinder is
Stockinder is a research and analysis tool — company data, financial metrics, computed report-card grades, watchlists, portfolio tracking, and AI-assisted explanations, in one place. It is not a broker, a financial adviser, or a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and using it does not create an advisory relationship between you and Stockinder.
Not investment advice
Nothing on Stockinder — report-card grades, screener results, discovery picks, articles, or anything Jarvis says — is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and none of it is personalised investment advice. Grades and filters are computed automatically from public financial data against fixed rules; they describe what the numbers currently show, not what you should do about them. Investing involves risk, including the risk of loss, and you're responsible for your own decisions — independently verify anything you plan to act on, and consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser for advice tailored to your situation.
AI-generated content
Some of what you read on Stockinder — company summaries, strengths/weaknesses, category analysis, the Daily Brief, Jarvis's replies — is written by AI models from the underlying financial data, not by a human analyst. It's marked as AI-generated wherever it appears. AI output can be wrong, outdated, or miss context a trained analyst wouldn't — treat it as a starting point for your own research, not a final word.
Data accuracy
Market data, financial statements, and analyst estimates come from third-party sources (Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, NSE, and screener data providers) and are shown as-is. We don't guarantee they're accurate, complete, or up to date — prices can lag, filings can be restated, and provider outages happen. When something looks off, that's worth checking against the company's own filings before you rely on it.
Using Stockinder responsibly
Use the site the way it's meant to be used — no scraping, no automated bulk-querying beyond normal browsing, no trying to break or bypass its rate limits or authentication, and no impersonating someone else's account. If you're signed in, you're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since that's what controls access to your Stockinder data.
No warranty, limited liability
Stockinder is provided “as is,” with no warranty that it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Stockinder isn't liable for investment losses, missed opportunities, or other damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything it shows you — the decisions, and their consequences, are yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Stockinder after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Grievances and contact
Questions, complaints, or something on the site looks wrong (a data error, a broken disclaimer, anything else) — email contact@stockinder.com and we'll get back to you.
